Ichyoids are an amphibious humanoid race who inhabit the Basement. They have pincer claws in place of conventional hands, and a collection of tentacles in place of a mouth. They are intelligent, mainly peaceful, and wear clothing. They are somewhat removed from the mainstream of Basement society due to their inability (or unwillingness) to speak the common language, instead communicating using the runic futhark script. Their dwelling areas are all submerged, and consequently information on their culture is difficult to compile.
