Helipaths are a very bizarre species who inhabit the Basement. Their most distinguishing feature is the spinning propeller-like mechanism atop their bodies, which enables them to hover and fly freely. Helipaths appear to 'speak' by altering the pitch and speed of the flying mechanism, as they have no mouth. They have multiple smooth tentacles hanging from the main mass of their bodies, which are used both for manipulating their environment and for ingesting food (juice and pulp). By all accounts, Helipaths are extremely intelligent, dexterous, and peaceful. Sexes (if any) and method of reproduction are completely unknown.
