Ettric was the second Earl of E. Very little is known about him except the following: E family legend connects him with the Mansion's Gatestone. According to legend "His strength was such that he himself placed it here," and that he gained this strength by "renouncing the flesh."
Speculation[]
In-universe, there are debates over whether the source of his strength meant sexual abstinence or vegetarianism.
Fan speculation is that Ettric's body had been augmented with Ettin robot parts. As far as we know this theory has not be considered by Sylvester.
