Ettrath was the fifth Earl, taking himself on after his father, Ettric III, was killed by a wave of well-armed invaders.
He got his status during this chaotic time that the family history refers to as the Darkest Hour(
). His official Achievement was that he pulled off some miracle, rallied his troops and defeated the invaders, thus "saving the family". It is implied that somehow he was changed, that something was wrong with him, as he died early death even though it was not from battle.
He had a wife() by the name of Elfrida with whom they did manage to make a child before his death.
