Boogiemen are large and powerful humanoids who inhabit the Basement. They are intelligent and capable of speech, although the range of intelligence displayed between individuals is considerable. They wear clothes, and use human names for themselves, the only species in the Basement known to do so. No female Boogiemen have been observed, and it is unknown whether they have sexes.
